Job description

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Business Solutions Advisor is responsible for the successful solution design, validation, planning, management, and execution of implementation for complex customer programs. This role provides post-implementation oversight and relationship management for select customers. It supports the Field Sales organization and collaborates with customers and internal teams to deliver program requirements.

GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

(This is a representative list and not exhaustive)

  1. Meet objectives for the Sales Solutions Design & Implementation team as set by the Sr. Manager, aligned with company strategy and sales goals.
  2. Review, validate, analyze, and design solutions for customer opportunities.
  3. Plan, manage, execute, and follow-up on customer implementations.
  4. Operate within established guidelines for service levels, solution development, and project management. Adhere to rules of engagement.
  5. Build and foster cross-functional relationships within the field and FSO to support customer solutions.
  6. Ensure solutions and implementation plans comply with sales agreements and company policies. Escalate issues as needed.
  7. Coordinate customer-facing resources, communications, and risk mitigation strategies.
  8. Train customers on FedEx Office programs relevant to their supported services.
  9. Maintain knowledge of sales and operations models to ensure alignment across solution design, implementation, and post-relationship management.
  10. Communicate effectively with team members and customers, both on-site and off-site.
  11. Serve as the main contact for key customer business owners.
  12. Monitor progress and address process needs to meet customer expectations throughout the program lifecycle.
  13. Participate in program development, planning, and launch initiatives.
  14. Perform other duties as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • At least 5 years in sales, sales support, or customer-facing roles focused on developing relationships.
  • Experience with sales processes, operations, and customer agreements.
  • Project management experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency with MS Project, Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
  • Must meet all employment qualifications at hire or transfer as per company policies.

  • Read and interpret documents from various sources.
  • Communicate effectively with all stakeholders.

  • Work independently as appropriate.
  • Maintain regular attendance and support business hours.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience in returns solutions, onsite mail, parcel, and print solutions for higher education, corporate, and hotel sectors. Expertise in customer need discovery, user interviews, technical deep-dives, and executive readouts. Ability to translate customer needs into measurable value, with tracking and reporting mechanisms.

Pay Transparency

This salary range is an estimate based on potential locations and job levels. Actual pay depends on experience, market, location, and other factors. Benefits include health, vision, dental, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.

Pay

U.S. Range: $5,364.26 to $9,476.86 per month.

Additional Details

The position can be based anywhere in the U.S., excluding Alaska, Hawaii, and territories. Some on-site work may be required.
