IXL Learning, a developer of personalized learning products used by millions globally, is seeking educators with a design sensibility to create social studies worksheets for Education.com. In this role, you will write, design, and produce educational worksheets covering Social Studies topics for grades K–8.

This is a remote, 1099 consulting role for three months, with a potential extension.

Responsibilities

• Create engaging worksheets on history, community and culture, civics and government, economics, and geography for grades K–8.
• Write clear, grade-appropriate content for your assigned topics.
• Design and produce visually appealing worksheet PDFs using software such as InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Keynote, or Google Slides.
• Ensure files meet visual and technical standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in social studies teaching, tutoring, or mentoring for K–8 students.
• Proficiency with visual design and related software.
• Strong writing skills.
• Experience in curriculum development is a plus.
