First American is looking to add a Business Segment Manager. In this role, you are responsible for the day-to-day operational functions related to providing Title services to customers. The BSM manages production operations supporting multiple counties and oversees internal and offshore production units.

What You'll Do:

• Supervise and mentor staff, responsible for performance management, development, and work delegation. Hire, train, and evaluate employees, providing feedback and identifying training needs.
• Manage employee relations, performance appraisals, salary administration, incentives, and hiring processes.
• Support Title Production operations, working with managers to improve organizational performance.
• Assist in financial management by analyzing P&L and unit cost data, and implementing operational improvements.
• Manage process workflows and electronic imaging databases.
• Communicate roles and responsibilities clearly, provide feedback, and delegate tasks.
• Identify and initiate process improvements and problem-solving activities to ensure high-quality, cost-effective, and timely service.
• Oversee day-to-day operations, including onshore and offshore staff, ensuring operational flexibility and reviewing outsourcing volumes.
• Manage vendor relationships, negotiate costs, and handle customer requests and complaints.
• Analyze quality metrics and work with Quality Lead to meet quality goals.
• Ensure turnaround time goals are met or exceeded, providing regular performance reports.
• Travel to offsite locations as needed.

What You'll Bring:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills with internal, external, and offshore teams.
• Experience managing large, diverse teams, including virtual staff.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• At least 4 years of related experience and 2 years of management/leadership experience.
• Title Examiner background is required.

Pay Range: $72,125-$96,125 annually. Compensation depends on experience, skills, and location.
