Vectrona is seeking two professionals who can connect business-process improvement with clear, usable technical writing in support of the Army National Guard Chief of Staff Office / Secretary of the General Staff.

These roles help improve organizational processes, documentation, executive correspondence, and administrative standards so staff actions move efficiently and leaders receive reliable, well-structured information.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Public Administration, Organizational Management, Communications, Technical Writing, Information Management, Government, or a related field preferred.
  • Relevant experience in business-process analysis, process improvement, technical writing, policy/procedure development, staff-action support, or headquarters administrative operations.
  • Experience supporting Army, Army National Guard, DoD, Joint Staff, Service Headquarters, Federal agencies, or comparable complex organizations preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze workflows,identifyroot causes or inefficiencies, and turn findings into practical process and documentation improvements.
  • Strong technical writing, editing, facilitation, stakeholder-engagement, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze business processes, staff-action workflows, documentation practices, and administrative procedures toidentifyimprovement opportunities.
  • Develop and refine standard operating procedures, process documentation, workflow guides, templates, and technical or administrative instructions.
  • Support executive correspondence and staff-action products with clear, concise, standards-based writing and editing.
  • Work with Government stakeholders to understand current-state processes, document requirements, and translate operational needs into practical improvements.
  • Helpestablishand reinforce consistent administrative and correspondence standards across the supported organization.
  • Conduct research, collect information, map processes, and develop recommendations that improve efficiency, accountability, and mission execution.
  • Support implementation of approved process improvements and update documentation as requirements evolve.
  • Coordinate with SACO/CACO and other headquarters staff to ensure process changes and written guidance support real-world staff-action execution.

Status: Full-Time | Contingent Upon Award

Location: Arlington, VA / National Capital Region; on-site at the assigned ARNG customer location

Clearance: Applicable security clearance required based on customer requirements
