Genesiscareers in Everett, WA is seeking a Business Office Manager to lead the center's revenue cycle and business office operations. You will supervise staff, ensure timely payroll, enforce policies, and drive accuracy in census, billing, collections, and resident funds.

This role partners with the Executive Director and department heads, overseeing month-end closes, private pay collections, and Medicaid Pending processes, while maintaining confidential files and high-quality resident service.

Qualifications

• Experience in long-term care billing and collections preferred.
• Accounting/finance coursework is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Manage and train business office staff and delegate authority.
• Meet payroll cycle deadlines and time-off approvals.
• Ensure policy compliance across RCM processes.
• Oversee census, billing, adjustments, collections and deposits.
• Manage Resident Trust Fund procedures with compliance to regulations.
• Conduct 72-hour financial meetings with new admissions to explain obligations.
• Monitor cash handling safeguards and postings; ensure month-end close accuracy.
• Drive Revenue Cycle Management goals and report on performance.
