Job summary

Saber Healthcare Group is seeking a results-oriented Business Office Manager to lead revenue cycle operations at a skilled nursing facility. The role focuses on cash collections, AR reduction, and accurate billing in a collaborative environment across departments.

You will oversee the business office, deposits, Medicaid eligibility, and support timely insurance submissions. A strong regulatory understanding and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework in business, healthcare administration, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of two years experience in a long-term care business office or healthcare setting.
• Working knowledge of health insurance payers including Medicare, Medicaid, and Managed Care plans.
• Understanding of Medicaid eligibility requirements and application process, including follow-up and documentation coordination.
• Ability to communicate professionally with residents, families, staff, and external partners.
• Strong organizational and time management skills; can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook/Excel); experience with healthcare billing or electronic systems preferred.
• Previous experience in skilled nursing/long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the business office and ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards.
• Drive cash collections, reduce accounts receivable aging, and ensure financial accuracy.
• Support accurate and timely submission of insurance claims and resolve billing issues.
• Manage census, daily deposits, and cash posting; supervise private pay collections and resident trust accounts.
• Partner with billing team to optimize revenue cycle performance.

Education
