Rigid Global Buildings is a leading manufacturer of metal building and structural steel buildings in the United States. Rigid offers metal buildings to various industries, including Commercial, Industrial, Aviation, Agricultural, and others.

I. Job Summary

Rigid Global Buildings is seeking an experienced salesperson for business development in the US. This is an inside sales role at one of the fastest-growing metal-building companies in the country. The primary responsibilities include maintaining and expanding an existing customer base and calling on prospective new clients within an assigned territory. The ideal candidate will have strong phone communication skills and a solid work ethic.

II. Job Responsibilities

1. Sales – Guide customers through the entire sales process for purchasing a metal building, assisting via phone and email.
2. Estimating – Assess project design, timeline, and budget; use MBS software to provide detailed quotes; log all activity in CRM.
3. Project Management – Support customers from quote to project completion through daily communication with design, detailing, engineering, and customer service teams.

III. Qualifications

• Excellent telephone communication skills, with the ability to make hundreds of calls weekly to identify buyers.
• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum of one year of experience in sales or a service-oriented industry.
• Experience in metal building industry preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
• Self-motivated and proactive in expanding territory.
• Knowledge of the building/construction industry strongly preferred.
• This position is office-based in Houston, TX.
• A combination of education and experience may qualify.
