Job description

We’re seeking a full-time contract Development Project Manager to support and stabilize our software development team while our full-time PM is on leave. This 3-month role is focused on execution—managing agile sprints, maintaining clean and actionable Jira boards, facilitating clear communication between dev, QA, and cross-functional teams, and keeping leadership informed with timely updates.

You won’t be responsible for building new systems or setting long-term strategy. Instead, you’ll be stepping into an established structure and keeping operations on track. This role requires strong organizational skills, proactive communication, and comfort working in an agile environment with remote teams.

This is a fully remote position.

Responsibilities

• Manage agile sprint execution and monitor daily task progress
• Maintain and organize Jira boards for visibility and prioritization
• Facilitate clean handoffs between development and QA
• Communicate milestone updates, shifts in timelines, and blockers
• Capture meeting notes and action items to ensure clear follow-through
• Draft and send status updates to leadership with clarity and consistency
• Support general coordination between Product, Development, and CX teams

Qualities of a Successful Candidate

• Strong experience in agile project management
• Proficiency with Jira
• Excellent organizational and coordination skills
• Clear and concise communicator—able to bridge technical and non-technical teams
• Able to quickly learn context and contribute without disruption to momentum

Desired Qualifications
