The Business Development Manager (BDM) provides exceptional patient support and customer service through proactive engagement, communication, and advocacy. The role involves understanding prosthetics, orthotics, and healthcare, guiding patients through treatment processes, and building relationships with healthcare providers to foster referrals. The BDM manages day-to-day communication with patients, internal teams, and healthcare professionals involved in patient care.

Your Impact
  • Follow up with new patients post-consultation
  • Coordinate AMPOWER visits
  • Build and maintain referral relationships
  • Support post-surgery patient care
  • Engage patients with follow-ups and ongoing communication
  • Provide information and resources to patients and families
  • Assist with insurance documentation
  • Develop strategies to maximize referral sources and revenue
  • Work within hospitals, rehab centers, and other care settings
  • Monitor territory performance and develop growth plans
Minimum Qualifications
  • At least 2 years in a patient care environment
  • Ability to credential at major hospitals
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certifications such as ATC, CNA, MA, EMT, etc.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Marketing, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience

  • Effective communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Salesforce.com
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel
