The Business Development Manager (BDM) provides superior patient support and customer service via proactive intervention, communication, and patient advocacy, as well as emotional and educational support to patients and families coping with limb loss and/or a variety of orthotic and prosthetic needs.
The BDM should have a thorough understanding of prosthetics, orthotics, and the healthcare field. The role involves patient consultation, comfort, and guidance through referral, surgery, recovery, treatment, and rehab. The BDM will deliver the highest level of customer service to patients, referral sources, and colleagues through coordination and administration of patient care, building relationships with healthcare providers, and developing new opportunities for referrals.
The position involves managing communication with patients, internal teams, and healthcare providers involved in patient care on a day-to-day basis.
