The Business Development Manager (BDM) provides excellent patient support and customer service through proactive communication, patient advocacy, and emotional and educational support to patients and families coping with limb loss or orthotic/prosthetic needs.
The BDM should have a thorough understanding of prosthetics, orthotics, and healthcare. Responsibilities include patient consultation, guiding patients through referral, surgery, recovery, and rehab, and building relationships with healthcare providers to foster new opportunities and referral patterns.
The role involves managing daily communication with patients, internal teams, and healthcare providers involved in patient care, working closely with prosthetic personnel, office staff, and other managers.
