Job summary

Silvus Technologies seeks a Business Development Engineer to bridge RF capabilities with USSOCOM requirements. You will support field trials, coordinate with engineering and business development, and help translate operator needs into product roadmap inputs.

The role involves up to 50% travel to customer sites and labs, with remote work options depending on location. A SECRET clearance and US citizenship are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in an engineering/C5ISR field with 2–5 years relevant experience, or HS diploma with 5+ years.
• Active SECRET clearance or ability to obtain within 15 months.
• U.S. citizen; background check and drug test required.
• Exposure to SDRs, IP routing protocols, or tactical communications.

Responsibilities

• Analyze USSOCOM capability gaps and map needs to radio solutions.
• Plan networks, configure systems, and support field trials and user evaluations.
• Collaborate with Engineering to benchmark and verify architectures.
• Support BD with technical inputs and respond to RFIs/RFPs.
• Engage with USSOCOM stakeholders and test end-to-end networks.
