Job summary

Silvus Technologies, a Motorola Solutions subsidiary, seeks a Business Development Engineer to bridge RF capabilities with Marine Corps requirements. You will work with Engineering and BD teams to demonstrate interoperability and field-readiness of StreamCaster radios across diverse environments.

The role involves 50% travel for field tests and customer meetings, with a 100% remote option based on location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical/communication/C5ISR or related field with 2–5 years in systems engineering or defense tech roles; OR HS diploma with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Exposure to SDRs, IP-based routing, or tactical comms.
• Security clearance: Active U.S. Government SECRET clearance or ability to obtain within 15 months.

Responsibilities

• Analyze USMC operational priorities and map requirements to radio solutions.
• Support field trials, modernization, and user evaluations.
• Collaborate to verify architectures are technically sound.
• Maintain alignment with Business Development for technical needs.
• Build and present demos for expeditionary and tactical edge networking.
• Assist with RFI/RFP responses and end-to-end network testing.
