Silvus Technologies, a leading provider of advanced MANET and MIMO communications systems, seeks a Business Development Engineer to bridge RF capabilities with USSOCOM customer requirements. You will support field trials, customer engagements, and strategy development for tactical edge networks.

The role requires up to 50% travel to customer sites and labs, with a flexible remote option depending on location. This is an exciting opportunity to influence defense communications solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Network Engineering or related C5ISR field with 2-5 years of demonstrated experience in systems engineering, technical business development, or defense technology roles.
• OR High School Diploma/GED with 5+ years of relevant technical or defense experience.

Responsabilités

• Analyze USSOCOM capability gaps and SOF-peculiar requirements, mapping needs to tactical radio solutions.
• Support technical planning, network configuration, and live field trials.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Business Development to verify architectures are technically sound.
• Maintain alignment with Business Development for strategic priorities.
• Develop technical demonstrations for USSOCOM and component commands.
• Contribute to RFI/RFP proposal responses.
• Perform market research for potential integrations and end-to-end architectures.
• Engage with technical stakeholders across USSOCOM and SOF leads.
• Translate field feedback into product roadmap inputs and track progress.
