Silvus Technologies, a Motorola Solutions subsidiary, seeks a Business Development Engineer to bridge RF capabilities with USSOCOM requirements. You will support capability gaps, conduct field trials, and demonstrate interoperability of StreamCaster radios across multi-domain environments.

Up to 50% travel; 100% remote option depending on location. Candidate should have 2–5 years in systems engineering or defense tech and a SECRET clearance or ability to obtain one within 15 months.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or related C5ISR field with 2–5 years of experience in systems engineering or defense tech.
• Exposure to Software-Defined Radios (SDRs) and IP-based routing for tactical comms.
• Familiarity with RF test equipment such as spectrum analyzers and signal generators.
• Security clearance: government SECRET (or ability to obtain within 15 months).
• Experience with TCP/IP networking, Linux, or scripting for test automation.

Responsabilités

• Support USSOCOM capability gap analysis and map needs to tactical radio solutions.
• Plan networks, configure systems, and execute field trials and evaluations.
• Collaborate with Applications Engineering to validate solution architectures.
• Align work with Business Development priorities and create technical demonstrations for USSOCOM and components.
