Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in a Business Banking Relationship Management role or related business lending experience.
• Knowledge of business credit and core banking products and services; understanding of how business needs vary by industry/market.
• Strong communication skills with clients and internal partners at all levels.
• Ability to balance client needs with firm risk and interests; identify and resolve issues independently.
• Proficiency in MS Office tools including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Responsibilities

• Acquire, manage, and retain a portfolio of 70 - 90 business clients with annual revenue of $1 - $5 million; provide deposit and cash management solutions and manage credit opportunities up to ~$500,000.
• Deliver customized business banking solutions tailored to clients' financial needs and circumstances.
• Promote solutions that serve the client and ensure portfolio profitability using knowledge of business, finance, banking, credit, and risk management.
• Conduct in-person calls with prospects, COIs, and clients; maintain relationships and adjust strategies with guidance from management.
• Identify and pursue new business clients to cultivate long-term, primary banking relationships.
• Collaborate with partners across lines of business to meet clients' financial goals.
• Provide leadership by supporting assigned branches and adhering to risk management and regulatory requirements.
