Summit School Services is hiring a Bus Assistant to support safe student transportation. You will help students board and exit the bus, supervise behavior, and ensure seats and restraints are properly used.

Responsibilities include maintaining a clean vehicle, reporting violations, and completing paperwork on time. Training and safety meetings are required to remain qualified. The pay rate is $21.85 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old (19 for NY per state law).
• Must pass training and safety meetings to remain qualified.
• Ability to relate to and manage behavior of children.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with entering/exiting the bus safely.
• Monitor student behavior and report concerns.
• Seat students securely using restraints as needed.
• Keep the bus interior clean and presentable.
• Complete required paperwork promptly.
