Ideal candidates will be at least 18 years old, meet physical and medical requirements, and complete required trainings. The position involves assisting students and maintaining a clean vehicle environment as part of daily duties.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age; 19 for New York per state law.
• Must meet physical and medical requirements.
• Must complete and pass training and safety meetings to remain qualified.
• Must relate to and work well with children.
• Ability to lift and assist students when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with entering or exiting the bus safely.
• Seat students using belts, car seats, or restraints.
• Monitor student behavior and ensure safety regulations are followed.
• Document and report violations or concerns to the supervisor.
• Keep the vehicle interior clean and presentable.
• Attend training, safety meetings, and in-service sessions.
