Doctors Hospital of Augusta is seeking a Burn Unit Registered Nurse (RN) to care for patients with burn injuries. The role involves partnering with a skilled team to restore comfort and healing, with stays ranging from days to weeks.

A strong emphasis on pain management, wound care, and education for patients and families is expected. The ideal candidate will hold an RN license, have 2 years of Stepdown/CCU experience, and obtain BCLS/ACLS within 30 days of starting.

Qualifications

• RN required with active license
• 2 years of experience in a Stepdown or Critical Care setting
• BCLS and ACLS certifications must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

Responsabilités

• Assess patient condition and environment to recognize changes, manage pain, and ensure safety throughout care journey
• Perform procedures and medication administration including pain relief and fluid therapy, advanced wound care and dressing changes
• Educate and support patients and families to navigate recovery and informed decisions
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide patient-centered care
