Job summary

Doctors Hospital of Augusta is seeking a Burn Unit Registered Nurse (RN) to join a dedicated, patient‑centered team. You will assess patients, perform wound care, manage pain, and coordinate with a multidisciplinary staff to deliver compassionate care to burn patients across short and extended stays.

This role requires an active RN license, ACLS/BLS within required timelines, and at least one year of medical‑surgical or wound care experience.

Qualifications

• Requires RN license and active state registration.
• ACLS and BLS must be obtained within specified timelines.
• 1 year of Medical Surgical or wound care experience required.
• Burn unit experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition and environment to recognize changes and ensure safety.
• Perform wound care and medication administration, including pain relief and fluids.
• Educate patients and families to navigate recovery and informed decisions.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient‑centered care.
