Job summary

Doctors Hospital of Augusta is seeking a Burn Unit Registered Nurse (RN) to support the healing journey of burn patients. You will engage with a skilled team, deliver advanced wound care, and help manage pain and safety throughout stays that range from days to weeks.

Responsibilities include assessments, procedures, medication administration, patient and family education, and collaboration with nurses and physicians to ensure compassionate, high-quality care.

Qualifications

• ACLS must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
• BLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• RN licensure is required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition and environment to recognize changes, manage pain, and ensure safety.
• Perform expert procedures and medication administration, including pain relief, fluid therapy, wound care, and dressing changes.
• Educate and support patients and families to navigate recovery and make informed decisions.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide patient-centered care.
