The role emphasizes patient- and family-centered education, safety, and participation in hospital councils and nursing initiatives that shape care quality. Experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care preferred; ACLS/BCLS required within 30 days.

Qualifications

• RN licensed nursing professional with current Georgia RN license.
• Bachelor's Degree or Associate Degree in Nursing.
• Minimum 2 years in Medical-Surgical or Progressive Care settings.
• BCLS and ACLS certification or instructor certification within 30 days of start.

Responsibilities

• Assessing patient condition and environment to recognize changes, manage pain, and ensure safety during care.
• Performing procedures and medication administration, including pain relief and fluid therapy, with advanced wound care and dressing changes.
• Educating and supporting patients and families to navigate recovery and make informed decisions.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide seamless, patient-centered care tailored to each patient’s needs.
