Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Bulk Manager to lead the Bulk department with a focus on accuracy, sanitation, and customer service. You will supervise packaging, pricing, inventory, and safety compliance while guiding team members through coaching and performance reviews.

In this role, you’ll schedule shifts, collaborate with store leadership, recruit and promote staff, and ensure the bulk area is clean, organized, and welcoming for hundreds of shoppers each week.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 1–2 years of experience in a retail grocery environment plus 1 year of managerial leadership experience.
• Flexible schedule that includes nights, weekends and holidays.
• Knowledge of weekly ad items and directing customers to product locations.
• Ability to work a changing schedule as the business needs.
• Working knowledge of personnel reports, margin reports, weekly sales numbers, and financial goals.
• Outgoing and friendly demeanor with customers and team members.
• Physical ability to move items weighing up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Bulk department according to plan, including packaging, pricing, and presentation of bulk items.
• Oversee inventory, rotate products by date, and maintain sanitation and safety standards.
• Communicate policies and product knowledge to the team and ensure high customer service levels.
• Schedule staffing, manage shifts, and adjust as needed to maximize productivity.
• Recruit, hire, and promote staff in collaboration with Store Manager.
• Provide coaching and conduct performance reviews; take corrective actions when needed.
• Lead store meetings and participate in cross-functional collaboration.
