Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market in Riverside, CA, seeks a Bulk Manager to oversee bulk foods, packaging, pricing, and inventory. You will lead a team, ensure safety and cleanliness, and deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced store environment.

The role requires 1–2 years in retail grocery with supervisory experience, 18+ years old, and the ability to work nights/weekends. Daily supervision and growth opportunities are available in a supportive team setting.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• 1–2 years of experience in a retail grocery environment and 1 year of managerial leadership experience.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Know weekly ad items and direct customers to product location.
• Knowledge of personnel reports, margin reports, weekly sales numbers, and financial goals.
• Outgoing and friendly with a positive attitude toward team members and customers.
• Move items weighing up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the maintenance, packing, and stocking of all bulk foods.
• Follow merchandising Bulk plan and ensure proper packaging, scaling, filling bins, pricing Bulk packages.
• Order and maintain inventory; rotate product using codes; follow sanitation program.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, Weights & Measures, and COOL regulations.
• Communicate standards and product knowledge to team members; deliver high customer service.
• Recruit, hire, and collaborate with Store Manager on promotions and transfers.
• Coach and develop staff; conduct bi-annual performance reviews; participate in meetings.
• Lead scheduling and staffing; act as Key Carrier or Manager on Duty as needed.
