Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Bulk Manager to lead the Bulk department, overseeing packing, stocking, ordering, and pricing of bulk foods. You will coach team members, ensure safety and sanitation, and maintain excellent customer service in a fast-paced grocery environment.

The role requires 1–2 years in retail grocery with managerial experience, flexibility to work evenings and weekends, and the ability to move up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• 1–2 years in a retail grocery environment and 1 year of managerial leadership experience.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Knowledge of weekly ads, product location, and store housekeeping.
• Ability to move up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
• Experience with personnel reports, margin reports, and sales goals.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance, packing, and stocking of all bulk foods.
• Follow merchandising bulk plan; package, weigh, price bulk items clearly.
• Order and rotate inventory, maintain sanitation and code-date accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and regulatory standards.
• Lead and coach team members; conduct performance reviews and staffing decisions.
• Coordinate with Store Manager on hiring, transfers, and scheduling.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and bulk area presentation.
