Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Bulk Manager to oversee bulk foods from packing to stocking, while ensuring accuracy in pricing and presentation. You will maintain inventory, rotate products, and ensure cleanliness and safety within the Bulk area.

You will lead a team, coach performance, and collaborate with the Store Manager on hiring, promotions, and scheduling to deliver exceptional customer experiences in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• 1–2 years of experience in a retail grocery environment and 1 year of managerial leadership experience.
• Able to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Know weekly ad items and direct customers to product locations; perform general housekeeping in the department.
• Ability to adapt schedule as business needs change, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Understand personnel reports, margin reports, weekly sales numbers, and financial goals.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor with customers and team members.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Oversee bulk items packaging, stocking, and presentation.
• Manage inventory, code dating, and bulk bin maintenance.
• Ensure safety, health, and regulatory compliance in the department.
• Provide high level of customer service and product knowledge to customers.
• Lead and coach team members; participate in bi-annual performance reviews.
• Recruit, hire, promote and transfer in collaboration with Store Manager.
• Schedule staffing and manage throughput for productivity.
