Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield in Maryland Heights, MO is seeking a skilled facilities technician responsible for operating and maintaining mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across assigned properties. The role includes rounds, preventive maintenance, and timely repairs to ensure safe, comfortable environments.

Schedule is Tuesday through Saturday with potential overtime as needed. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, 5+ years of related experience, and relevant trade licenses.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; trade apprenticeship preferred.
• Minimum 5+ years of related experience operating mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Appropriate license/permit for trade may be required (Journeyman/Master Electrician, etc.).
• Possess valid driver's license and good driving record.
• Experience with energy management systems and building systems operations, maintenance and repair.

Responsibilities

• Perform all plumbing, electrical, or HVAC requirements of the building(s).
• Maintain heating equipment, chillers, DX units, pumps, and air distribution systems.
• Monitor and adjust mechanical/pneumatic equipment and controls.
• Repair doors, ceilings, floors and related components.
• Perform preventive maintenance per standards and schedules.
• Respond to emergencies and safety concerns.
• Document activities and report to supervisor.
