Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking an Operating Engineer to ensure the efficient operation and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across assigned properties. The role includes rounds, preventive maintenance, and ensuring a clean, safe environment.

Responsibilities include operating HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems, monitoring energy usage, and performing repairs. A High School Diploma or GED is required, with apprentice or trade training preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Graduate of apprentice program or trade school preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform all plumbing, electrical, or HVAC requirements of the building(s).
• Maintain heating equipment, chillers, DX units, pumps, cooling towers, VAV and air distribution systems.
• Monitor and adjust mechanical/pneumatic equipment, steam stations, control gauges and valves.
• Verify field conditions and perform repairs or adjustments as needed.
• Monitor Energy Management and ensure safe operation.
