Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician to support operation, troubleshooting, diagnostics, housekeeping, and repairs on commercial properties. You will work on mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, and building systems across assigned facilities in the Washington, DC area.

The role requires 2+ years of related experience, a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to respond to emergencies.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related experience in a commercial property setting
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record
• Technical, vocational or on-the-job training in HVAC, electrical, mechanical, painting, plumbing or carpentry

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical and mechanical equipment
• Inspect facilities and perform preventative maintenance; operate fire and life safety systems
• Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and finish work such as walls and ceilings
• Respond to emergencies and customer service requests; use tools and maintain equipment safely
