Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Mobile Building Engineer to maintain and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and building mechanical systems at client sites in San Jose, CA. You will ensure efficient operation, safety, and compliance while supporting day-to-day facility management.

The role requires EPA 608 Universal certification and at least four years of technical building engineering experience. A valid driver’s license and strong problem-solving skills are essential for success in this

Qualifications

• EPA 608 Universal Certification is required.
• Minimum of four (4) years of technical experience in building engineering with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and related systems.
• Candidate must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license.
• Possess a valid "Universal" level certification for CFC and HFC refrigerants (EPA Section 608).

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repair on facility systems including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing.
• Operate, maintain, and repair boilers, heaters, pumps, and related steam/heated water systems.
• Respond to emergencies and may require light travel between properties.
• Maintain stock and inventory control; compile monthly reports for management.
• Ensure compliance with codes and safety regulations; complete safety training annually.
