Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Mobile Engineer to maintain and repair building systems in Austin, TX. You will manage HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and related equipment across client properties, ensuring safe and efficient operations.

The role requires at least four years of technical building engineering experience, a valid driver’s license, and EPA Section 608 certification where applicable. You will work within a dynamic facilities team and may travel between properties as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; apprentice/trade school preferred.
• Minimum four years of technical building engineering experience including HVAC, plumbing, electrical and maintenance.
• Trade license/permit may be required for location.
• EPA Section 608 universal certification for refrigerants (CFC/HFC) required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repair on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other systems.
• Maintain and repair building systems and equipment across assigned client properties.
• Conduct facility inspections and report on conditions affecting occupancy and operations.
• Respond to emergencies and be prepared for travel as needed.
• Maintain inventory and order parts; ensure compliance with safety and codes.
