Cushman & Wakefield is seeking an Operating Engineer to ensure efficient operation and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for assigned properties. Responsibilities include rounds, preventive maintenance, and ensuring a safe, clean environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required, apprentice program or trade school preferred.
• 5+ years in operating mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in a commercial setting.
• License/permits such as Journeyman or Master Electrician, Refrigeration Certification, or Boiler License may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform plumbing, electrical, or HVAC work for building operations.
• Maintain heating equipment, chillers, DX units, pumps, cooling towers and air distribution systems.
• Monitor energy management and adjust field conditions; perform repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Inspect engine room and electrical rooms; replace lamps and signage as needed.
• Respond to emergencies and ensure compliance with codes and safety regulations.
