Job summary

Builders FirstSource is seeking an experienced Outside Sales professional to represent our broad range of building materials to residential, multi-family and commercial customers. You will lead proposals, prepare sales contracts, and coordinate with design teams.

The role includes developing new business, mentoring junior staff, and delivering value with strong product knowledge. A Bachelor’s degree and two years of sales experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing or related field required.
• 2+ years sales experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Represents the company during the sales process by collecting data on customer needs and design specifications.
• Develops sales contracts for a wide range of projects (residential, multi-family, commercial).
• Troubleshoots field issues and provides solutions.
• Plans and conducts sales presentations and demonstrations of products and services.
• Identifies and solicits new customers and generates sales opportunities.
• Keeps customers informed about products and services and their applicability to needs.
