A leading construction supply company is seeking an Outside Sales Representative in Maryland to generate new sales and maintain existing accounts. The role requires at least 3 years of sales experience in the building materials industry, along with skills in negotiation, strategic planning, and effective communication. The compensation ranges from $50K to $75K plus commission, and 50% travel is required for this position.

Qualifications

• 3 years of sales experience in building materials or related industry required.
• Must have a valid Driver License upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Promote, sell, and secure new accounts for the company.
• Provide existing accounts with necessary products, time, and information.
• Assist with the selection of products best suited to customer needs.
• Prepare, coordinate, and communicate price quotations.
• Resolve customer complaints and problems.
• Assist in the collection of accounts receivable.
• Coordinate project schedules, contractor schedules, and material deliveries.
• Prepare and input orders as necessary.
