Job summary

Gillman Home Center in Winchester, VA is seeking an Inside Sales Specialist to assist customers and contractors with project needs. This full-time role is 40 hours/week with open availability Monday–Sunday and store hours 7am–8pm, including some evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities include providing excellent service, answering questions, quoting projects, creating orders and invoices, coordinating deliveries and installations, and following up from quote to completion.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or 1-3 years of related experience.
• 3+ years of experience in the building materials/construction industry.
• 1+ years Customer service experience.
• Retail experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent service to customers.
• Answer questions and resolve customer concerns; advise on solutions and upsell when appropriate.
• Quote projects, prepare orders, and generate invoices.
• Coordinate deliveries and installations and follow up from quote to completion.
• Maintain a safe, organized store and assist with inventory and front-end tasks.
