Job summary

HDR is seeking a BES Data Steward to define and unify how data is defined, shared, and used across the Building Engineering Services group. The role leads SME coordination, drives data standardization, and enables better business decisions and project delivery.

This leadership position focuses on data architecture, reuse, and governance, empowering teams to define data once and reuse it across initiatives. HDR values employee ownership and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, data science, business, computer science, or related field.
• At least 10 years of experience in the Architecture Engineering industry.
• Ability to lead cross-functional data initiatives and govern data definitions.

Responsibilities

• Define and standardize data definitions across BES disciplines.
• Coordinate SME input to align data workflows with BES strategy.
• Promote consistent data practices and governance across projects.
• Collaborate with data science teams and enterprise data operations.
• Lead change management to adopt data standards and tools.
