Job summary

CBRE HV seeks a Building Engineer to monitor, maintain, and repair building systems including plumbing, electrical, heating, and cooling. You will ensure safety, compliance, and energy efficiency while supporting preventive maintenance and emergency repairs.

The role requires a High School Diploma or trade diploma with 4-5 years of related experience, and Universal CFC certification preferred. You will join a team focused on reliable facility operations under CBRE guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or trade school diploma plus 4-5 years of related experience.
• Universal CFC certification preferred; licenses as required by local/state jurisdictions.
• Prior shift management or supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair mechanical, plumbing, electrical, fire/life safety, and control systems.
• Ensure facility systems operate to applicable standards and codes.
• Support preventive maintenance programs and emergency repairs as needed.
• Follow safety policies for hazardous materials and maintain a clean workspace.
• Review building systems to ensure environmental conditions meet client requirements.
• Apply standard principles to complex assignments and provide practical solutions.
• Share knowledge and coach others within engineering and technical services teams.
• Lead by example and support CBRE RISE values.
