Job summary

CBRE HV is seeking a Building Engineer to monitor, maintain, and repair building system operations across plumbing, electrical, and mechanical domains. You will support preventive maintenance programs, ensure code compliance, and drive energy efficiency across facilities.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED with 4–5 years of related experience, plus relevant certifications. You will work within CBRE policies and safety guidelines to uphold high standards of reliability and performance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 4–5 years related experience preferred.
• Universal CFC certification preferred; other licenses as required by local/state laws.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and basic financial calculations.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and control systems.
• Keep facility systems compliant with codes, regulations, and safety directives.
• Maintain energy management programs to maximize system efficiency.
• Assist with preventive maintenance and emergency repairs as needed.
• Follow safety policies for handling hazardous materials and maintain a clean workplace.
• Review building systems (fire alarms, HVAC, plumbing) to ensure operation within design specs.
