Job summary

ECS Group of Companies (ECS) seeks a Building Enclosure Project Associate to join our Southeast Building Science + Infrastructure team in Jackson, MS. You will support building enclosure consulting projects through field investigations, testing, technical analysis, and report preparation.

You will collaborate with experienced consultants and multidisciplinary project teams to evaluate building envelope performance, support construction quality, and deliver practical solutions for clients across

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or Architecture (NCARB).
• 2+ years of related experience with building enclosure consulting, including field investigations, testing, commissioning (BECx), design review, or forensic assessments.
• Licenses/certifications preferred: P.E., RA, IIBEC certifications (RRC, RWC, REWC, RBECxP), UW-Madison BECxP/CxA+BE.

Responsibilities

• Support building science & infrastructure projects through field investigations, testing, and reporting.
• Conduct site observations of roofing and building enclosure systems.
• Interpret drawings and assist with CAD work; develop testing protocols and plans.
• Interpret test results, identify deficiencies, and propose corrective actions.
• Assist with forensic assessments, commissioning, and enclosure investigations.
