Job summary

ECS is seeking a Building Enclosure Project Associate to join our Southeast Building Science + Infrastructure team in Long Beach, MS. The role focuses on field investigations, testing, analysis, and report preparation to support building envelope performance and construction quality across diverse facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or Architecture (NCARB).
• 2+ years of related experience with building enclosure consulting, including field investigations, testing, commissioning (BECx), design review, or forensic assessments.
• Licensure or certification in PE, RA, IIBEC certifications, or UW–Madison BecxP/CxA+BE is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support multiple building science & infrastructure projects simultaneously.
• Coordinate site activities and communicate with field staff, subcontractors, and senior managers.
• Assist with proposals, change orders, project budgets, and invoices.
• Monitor project progress and communicate schedule updates, testing activities, and potential budget impacts.
