Job summary

ECS is seeking a Building Enclosure Project Associate to join our Southeast Building Science + Infrastructure team in Long Beach, MS. You will support building enclosure consulting projects through field investigations, testing, technical analysis, and report preparation, collaborating with experienced consultants.

This role offers hands-on field experience, opportunities for growth, and mentorship within a collaborative environment, with exposure to a variety of facilities and building envelope

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Civil/Structural/Architectural Engineering or Architecture (NCARB).
• 2+ years of building enclosure consulting experience, including field investigations, testing, and design review.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.), Registered Architect (R.A.), or IIBEC certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform building science and infrastructure testing, inspections, and consulting.
• Conduct site observations of roofing and enclosure systems.
• Interpret drawings and assist CAD work.
• Develop testing protocols and analyze results to identify deficiencies.
• Support project management, budgets, and client communication.
• Prepare clear technical reports with observations and recommendations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and mentor junior staff.
