Job summary

ECS is seeking a Building Enclosure Senior Project Associate to join our Southeast Building Science + Infrastructure team in Jackson, MS. You will manage building enclosure consulting projects and serve as a lead technical consultant on investigations, assessments, commissioning, testing, and design consulting.

You will work closely with clients and multidisciplinary teams to evaluate building envelope performance, support construction quality, and deliver practical consulting solutions across

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or Architecture (NCARB).
• 5+ years of related experience with building enclosure consulting, including field investigations, testing, commissioning (BECx), design review, or forensic assessments.
• Licensing or certification such as P.E., RA, IIBEC certs, or UW–Madison certifications is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Manage building enclosure consulting projects from setup to completion.
• Lead technical investigations, testing, and design reviews.
• Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors.
• Mentor junior staff and supervise field personnel.
• Prepare and review building science reports and recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with IBC, ASHRAE, ASTM, SMACNA, and CSI standards.
