ECS Group of Companies in Jackson, MS, seeks a Building Enclosure Senior Project Associate to manage enclosure consulting projects and lead technical investigations, testing, and design reviews. You will mentor junior staff while collaborating with clients, architects, engineers, and owners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or Architecture (NCARB).
• 5+ years of related experience with building enclosure consulting, including field investigations, testing, commissioning (BECx), design review, or forensic assessments.
• Licenses or certifications preferred: PE, RA, IIBEC (RRC, RWC, REWC, RBECxP), UW–Madison BECxP/CxA+BE.

Responsibilities

• Perform building science testing, inspections, and consulting.
• Conduct site observations of roofing and enclosure systems.
• Interpret drawings and perform CAD work as needed.
• Develop testing plans and perform specialized building enclosure testing.
• Interpret test results and recommend corrective actions.
• Lead building enclosure investigations, commissioning (BECx), and design reviews.
• Review design documents, specs, and submittals.
• Maintain knowledge of IBC, ASHRAE, ASTM, SMACNA, CSI.
• Mentor junior staff and supervise field personnel.
• Manage projects from setup to completion.
