Job summary

CMS Controls, a division of Piedmont Service Group, is seeking a DDC Project Sales Representative to develop new customer relationships and expand the existing base across designated markets. You will present CMS Controls’ building automation solutions, collaborate across divisions, and drive revenue growth through strategic partnerships.

Reporting to the Business Development Manager, the role requires travel to client sites and conferences, with the office-based team supporting proposals,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Minimum of 3 years HVAC and/or Building Automation System direct-to-customer sales and estimating experience.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop relationships with consulting engineers, contractors, end-users and partners within assigned territories.
• Understand client needs in Energy Management and Building Management Systems and develop fitting solutions.
• Attend meetings and conferences to grow CMS Controls' market presence and opportunities.
• Collaborate with engineers to position CMS Controls products for future opportunities.
• Work with contractors to support plan-and-spec, design-build, and budgeting opportunities.
• Collaborate across divisions to leverage PSG/CMS capabilities for each opportunity.
• Meet sales targets and maintain CRM opportunities with timely updates.
