Job summary

Control Solutions Group, an EMCOR Group company, seeks a highly motivated BMS Service Sales Executive to drive sales for our Building Management System Service Department. You will develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers to identify scope, provide solutions, and close sales.

Familiarity with controls, BMS, BAS, DDC, Building Automation, Building Management, EPMS, and Energy Management Systems is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
• Minimum 4 years’ sales experience in Building Management Systems or control systems.
• Fluent in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of Visio and/or AutoCAD is a plus.
• CRM and Bid Tracer experience is a plus.
• BACnet controls sales experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; strong negotiation and closing skills.
• Willingness to travel; 3–5 years field experience in HVAC controls including DDC, software integration, service, retrofit and calibration.
• Extensive knowledge of networking protocols, hardware, configuration, management, security and diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Identify and target opportunities to Service Manager.
• Arrange meetings and build estimates and proposals using standardized tools.
• Estimate and develop proposals for service, retrofit control projects and service contracts.
• Work with subcontractors and vendors for control installation and related services.
• Assist in selling service contracts on new accounts.
• Attend pre-bid meetings and client walkthroughs to capture project requirements.
• Build and maintain relationships with building owners/operators and mechanical contractors.
• Collaborate with Admin, Operations, Engineering and Service teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintain relationships with customers with integrity and urgency.
• Develop cooperative relationships with company team, clients, subcontractors, and trade contractors.
