New England Mechanical Services, Inc. seeks an outside sales professional for the BAS/Controls/Automation division. You will identify and win new work for building automation projects, including plan/spec and design/build or owner-direct opportunities.

In this role you will develop and grow BAS sales within the branch territory, qualify opportunities, prepare proposals, and present costed solutions to engineers and contractors. A driver’s license and MS Office proficiency are required.

Qualificações

• 2+ years of professional sales experience in Building Automation or related industry.
• Self-motivated with ability to stay current with new DDC technology.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Must understand mechanical systems and the application of controls to those systems.
• Excellent oral, written and presentation skills.
• Must have a driver’s license.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and grow building automation sales within the branch territory.
• Prequalify business opportunities to ensure alignment with company goals.
• Review project plans and specifications to design and estimate complex DDC controls systems.
• Create detailed cost estimates including material, labor, system sketches, scope definition, exceptions/exclusions, and vendor/subcontractor quotes.
• Develop technical proposals and detailed scope letters.
• Attend sales calls, pre-bid meetings and site assessments for potential projects.
• Call consulting engineers, general contractors, and mechanical contractors to develop long-term relationships and position NEMSI as their preferred provider of building automation systems.
