CBRE seeks a Building Automation Engineer to lead master systems integration of BMS, build control databases, and create user interfaces per project specs. You will support installers and customers on-site and remotely, perform startups, and commission control programs to ensure proper operation.

Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship in the future. Travel up to 30% is required, with overnight trips up to a week, while collaborating with the project

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in HVAC, electrical, mechanical or software; 2–5 years' relevant experience.
Understanding of existing procedures and standards to solve moderately complex problems.
Ability to analyze possible solutions using technical experience to apply judgment and precedents.
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
Core knowledge in at least three: Building Management Systems; Niagara; Distech Controls; BACnet/Modbus; HVAC Controls; IT Networking; Commissioning; Troubleshooting.
Travel up to 30% of annual time, with overnight trips up to a week.

Responsabilités

Create complex programming using flow diagrams and sequences of operations and panel layouts.
Perform programming of control applications using various software tools.
Perform job-site system checkout, commissioning, and testing of control applications.
Confirm proper operation according to project specifications, sales proposal, and design documentation.
Approve and develop system graphic displays according to project specifications or sales proposals.
Provide on-site and remote technical support to installers and customers.
Perform multifaceted system evaluation and diagnostics.
Isolate and troubleshoot escalated problems and take corrective action.
Document problem resolution and report findings to the Project team for customer follow-up.
Apply general knowledge to accomplish tasks and solve routine problems.
Have broad knowledge of own job discipline and some knowledge of several related disciplines.
Support the management of software tools.
