Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer to perform master systems integration of building management systems, build control databases, and develop user interfaces according to project specs and proposals.

You will provide on-site and remote support, perform field startup, and participate in system commissioning for large enterprise clients using industry-leading technologies. Expect travel and cross-functional teamwork in a global environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in HVAC, electrical, mechanical or software engineering with 5–8 years of relevant experience.
Ability to solve moderately complex problems using technical judgment and precedents.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products and organizational skills.
Working knowledge of multiple BMS-related systems and protocols (e.g., Niagara, BACnet/Modbus).

Responsibilities

Create complex programming using flow diagrams and panel layouts.
Program control applications and perform system checkout, commissioning, and testing.
Provide on-site and remote technical support to installers and customers.
Document resolutions and report findings to project teams for follow-up.
Coordinate installation with contractors and apply standard principles to tasks.
