Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Building Automation Engineer to perform master systems integration of BMS, create databases and UI, and set up control systems per project specs. The role includes on-site and remote support, field startup, and commissioning work for large enterprise clients worldwide.

Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship currently or in the future. Travel up to 50% with occasional overnight trips is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or combination of experience and education
• Experience solving slightly complex problems using standard procedures
• Ability to analyze possible solutions with technical judgment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Strong organizational skills and inquisitive mindset

Responsibilities

• Create complex programming using flow diagrams, sequences of operations and panel layouts.
• Perform programming of control applications using various software tools.
• Commission and test control applications on job sites.
• Verify operation per project specs and design documentation.
• Develop system graphics displays per project specifications.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support to installers and customers.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot escalated issues and report findings to the project team.
