CBRE is seeking a Building Automation Engineer to perform master systems integration of BMS, build control databases, and create user interfaces per project specs. The role includes on-site and remote support, system commissioning, and software installation for large enterprise clients.

The position is part of the Software Engineering function, requiring travel up to 30% and strong knowledge in BMS disciplines and IT networking. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.

Competenze

• Bachelor's Degree in HVAC, Electrical, Mechanical or Software preferred with 2-5 years of relevant experience.
• Understanding of existing procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problems.
• Ability to analyze possible solutions using technical experience to apply appropriate judgment and precedents.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
• Must possess core knowledge in a minimum of three of the listed areas.
• Travel requirement up to 30% of annual time, overnight trips possible.

• Create complex programming using flow diagrams, sequences of operations and panel layouts.
• Perform programming of control applications using various software tools.
• Perform job-site system checkout, commissioning, and testing of control applications.
• Confirm proper operation according to project specifications, sales proposal, and design documentation.
• Approve and develop system graphic displays, according to project specifications or sales proposals.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support to installers and customers.
• Perform multifaceted system evaluation and diagnostics.
• Isolate and troubleshoot escalated problems and take corrective action.
• Document problem resolution and report findings back to Project team for customer follow-up.
• Apply general knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish assigned tasks and solve routine problems.
• Have broad knowledge of own job discipline and some knowledge of several job disciplines within the function.
• Support the management of software tools.
• Impact the quality of own work and the work of others on the team.
• Work primarily within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
• Explain complex information to others in straightforward situations.
